RAF to the rescue

WOW! He was lucky. If he has an IFR rating he was ahead of the game. I hope he gets all his sight back and is able to fly again.

sheperding only lost aircraft is... easy compared to sheperding a blind pilot.
 
Apparently, he is beginning to recover his sight.

Can't imagine them letting him fly again, though.
