[h=1]What’s a Raspberry Pi?[/h]The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming.

Techies worldwide are scrambling to get one (or more!) of these revolutionary new computers...and I'm one of them.


Only problem is the initial batch of A models were sold out instantly...and the improved B model is not expected to be shipping until July 2012.

Definitely one to keep an eye on!

Slick...now kids will have their own version of the computers us old-timers started out with (like the Sinclair zx80).

Except 'theirs' won't be taking up the entire top of a desk like 'ours' did. LOL.
(and Yes we DID walk uphill through deep snow both to and from school, hehe)
