RAZBAM news, CFS2 models go freeware

Files will be available shortly, it´s a 180MB zip file which includes
Skyraiders Vol1 and 2 CFS2
Skyhawks Vol1 to 4 CFS2
T-2C Buckeye CFS2
F2H Banshee CFS2

You need to be a registered member at RAZBAM in order to download it
IT´S ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO UPLOAD THESE FILES SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE SOLELY ON OUR WEBSITE, IF IT DOES APPEAR SOMEWHERE ELSE WE´LL PULL THE PLUG.

Well buddy, we may as well start the countdown to plug-pullin'. I'm sure you know of a few sim-related sites around who specialize in highjacking freeware. Nothin' we can do about it around here besides restricting ourselves to only downloading your treats from your website... *sighs*

This is an amazingly generous gift.

I had bought the Banshee, one volume of the Skyraiders and one volume of the Skyhawks a while ago and they are some of my favourite aircraft to fly in CFS2.

Nice to be able to fill out the set without emptying the pockets.

Razbam Download....

I Went... I Registered.... I ATTEMPTED to download 3x.....

The ZIP file is corrupted.

And, on my slow DSL [Max D/L Speed - 536K], it takes almost 45 minutes to perform.

So - What's the deal - anyone else having difficulty, or am I on the edge alone again ?

My download took a while, even with broadband, but it is something like 175 Megs. My download seems to be in order after a quick test with the Skyhawks Vol 3 install wizard. Perhaps it is just too big of a package for DSL to handle.

It's quite a package with numerous versions and textures of each of the four CFS 2 aeroplanes.

I have a fairly highspeed connection and it took awhile to download it. All appears to be in order and okay.

This could also be weather-related - we've just had the first significant snow and ice of the season, and phone service isn't the greatest out here in the Cornfield....

Stupid me - again

Guys - I'm at a loss. i cannot find that d..... link to Razbam anywhere in our forum. Okay, so I'm stupid, but since there may be one or two others suffering from the same mental disorder, maybe one of you great Gurus could tell me (and the one or two others) how to find it?

After you log in at the main forum page, look low there for the "The Toy Box" sub-forum. In there you'll find a another sub-topic named "CFS2 Freeware Pack download page". In that thread you'll find a link that reads as "Here you can find the CFS2 Aircraft Pack". This is where you go for the download.

Same thing happened to me. I deleted it. Went Back and downloaded the file a second time, scanned it and second time all was good. Thank You Razbam fpr the generousity. Wahoo

I guess you mean "Toy Room" where there is indeed a forum on free downloads - but nothing about these planes. So I'll freely admit it - I AM stupid, but there might just be other jerks, so maybe you could point it out a little more stupid-friendly?

No..."THE TOY BOX" is the name, in bold white print, located 3/4 down the main forum page, under "THE STORE" : http://www.razbam.org/forums

Are you registered as a member yet? You'll need that to download.

And once you get to the "CFS2 Freeware Pack download page" thread, the link is in there and it reads as follows:

As Bearcat says - the Toy Box

Since a picture is worth a thousand words ...
Start by pointing your browser to the RAZBAM homepage http://www.razbam.org

Now click on the forums link

after you login you will get the list of available forums, scroll down till you see The Toy Box, it is near the bottom

Now you should see a discussion called CFS2 Freeware Pack download page, click on it

The first thread in this discussion has the link to the file embedded in it. Click where you see "Here you can find the CFS2 Aircraft Pack"

You should now just sit back and relax as 180 MB of great stuff streams down to your PC
