Who can identify this aircraft?
Hint: Even though it out preformed the Douglas XB-18 'Bolo', this
aircraft lost out to it in being manufactured.

Moses,...that's correct. It's the North American XB-21 first flown in Dec. of 1937. Cost was a factor in why it was canceled. The price tag of $122,000 was too much in the manufacturing of the bomber. Twice the amount of a B-18. The Bolo lasted a few years as the mainstay of the American bomber force.
