Hi All,
I subscribe to a magazine "America in WWII." It comes out only four times a year but jam packed with great articles. They also run one or two advertisements that would be found in a Life or Look magazine during the war years. I was immediately captivated by this one put out by Liggett & Myers Tobacco Co. advertising their Chesterfield cigarettes.
To me,....it's very way cool. Here's an attractive young lady sitting on a Harley with a box of Chesterfields being used as a arm rest. Trying to find a print or poster of it has been problematic for me. From Amazon.com to various WWII poster sights found on the internet has brought up nothing. Zilch. Some sights do have Chesterfield WWII posters but not this one.
If anyone can steer me in the right direction to a link that might have this advertisement picture for sale,...either as a poster or magazine format size,...it would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hi Brad,I found the poster you are looking for on Amazon,they have 1 available at @$31.00 USD. ASIN: B005KMTUEA it is from a company called "Period Paper" in the "home &Kitchen"> Artwork section of Amazon.
 
Much thanks Aircav. I just ordered it through Amazon a few minutes ago. Wow,....never thought I'd pay $32.00 for a 71 year old magazine ad sheet,...but hey, when you're captivated,....you're captivated! :icon_lol:
