I thought this was appropriate for Memorial Day . . .




This picture was taken at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis , MN on a June morning - and which appeared in the
Minneapolis Star/Tribune. Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words......
 
Gee, Brad . . . wonder where you got the pic??? We were discussing it after the ceremony, today, and seems that it has been circulating for quit some time. Guess I missed it.
 
RevEv,...I received the "Standing watch" from a friend of mine. He mentioned to me that he had received it from his daughter-in-law. That's all I know. :salute:
 
Yeah . . . my daughter-in-law! We run through so much of this stuff, that we sometimes forget. I remember you saying that you had posted it.

Something must be amiss with my account. I tried to "message" Ickie, but something won't allow me to send it through. I wanted to ask him what happened to my posts . . . 42?? About 1200 short.

I'll keep trying.
