RE: What to do with a radial aircraft engine.......

....Sure would be interesting to hear it go through the gears on an open stretch of road.....

Heard many a time that Harleys are just 2 cylinders of a radial engine. This bikes sporting the full banana!

would still like to see one with a rotary engine ... imagine seeing a bike bliping at the traffic lights :icon_lol:

I saw a link recently where some guy had managed to fit a massive Russian radial engine into a small car. The shell was literally rebuilt around the engine.

Does he have to push it around the block once to distribute the oil though-out the cylinders, before starting it. Wonder if he has any cooling issues below 100 mph?

None the less, awesome looking machine.

Interesting. Radial engines do require manual rotation to get accumulated oil out of the bottom cylinders. I guess he could park it and pull the spark plugs, just make sure to put a catch pan under it to keep the EPA from freaking out.
