Real vs. FSX

I think these will be the last ones for me.

The MLM Fokker D.VII is one of the last real survivors. This D.VII was used in the movie Hell's Angels by Howard Hughes in 1930 (?). Weird enough this is a Fokker built in Germany restored as a Dutch built one and in the Verkehrsmuseum in Munich they have a Dutch built Fokker restored as a german aircraft....

Cool pics! :) Here's another. RAZBAM A-7E. Location is Subic Bay, Philipines, on the ramp next to what was once called Midway Hangar.

OMG does this bring back memories. This looks like the ramp at NAS Cubi Point, which is right next to Subic Bay Naval Station. I worked on this ramp many many years ago. Let's put it this way, one of the last times I was there, there were a few A-5 Vigilantes on that same ramp (along with lots and of these A-7s) and maybe even a Crusader and a Phantom or two. The last time I was there they had a Vigilante mounted on a support of a thing, outside the galley if memory serves. This was the most requested duty station in the entire USN. Those were the days. These facilities have been closed down (at least for Americans) since the early '80s.

Wow, I didn't even check back because I thought it would go un-noticed. Thanks guys!
Hanimichal, for about 2 seconds I didn't know which was the real pic. That's awesome!

Close enough?

Doornroosje ( The sleeping beauty)....... One of the C-47s from the the Dutch Dakota Association. The PH-DDZ is currently flying in historic Martinair colours, while the PH-PBA is currently flying in historic KLM colours.
