RealFlight Hellcat update

Okay, I'm one on of those "kick the tires, light the fires, let's go fly" types. I am flying and having fun with the Hellcat. Now we have the Service Pack and all the engine problems. I downloaded the latest model, but did not load it. And now I see there is an update to the Service Pack. If I load all the changes will I still have my "kick the tires, light...." fun that I am having now? Or should I leave well enough alone?
And thanks to R. R. Smith for the repaint of CDR David McCampbell's Mimi III.

Wait a day or so , there will be a consolidated installer with all the bits in one place , no messing around , no fuss , and not particularly bitchy for a hellcat. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Currently there are a couple of parts in a couple of places and it isn’t as easy as it will be tomorrow to figure out where they are hiding .

Regards C.J
Plus there are a couple of new Skins ready !

I know you guys probably spent a lot of time on this "update", but it has seriously ruined the product for me. I too, am a kick the tires and fly person. Can't we have an optional "downgrade" to the original...it was perfectly fine for me.

Hello Chuck,Let me say first how much I'm enjoying your beautiful Bad-A$$ Cat!! It's a work of art,I'm having a little trouble with the new airfile you posted, upon opening I get an error that it's broken.I'm updated to the latest service pack.Thank You for your hard work to bring this great old Warbird to life!!
Cheers
/Patrick/

Thats vista for you ... save the file to a folder , such as the RF F6F_Hellcat in aircraft and unzip it or extract it to that folder and you are good to go

Well, I loaded the latest version with the update. She sure smokes alot. I'm flying up here at NAS Brunswick, Maine with current ground temp at 9 degrees (F). CHT goes up after a few minutes and lots of nasty smoke. After I take off it quits after awhile until CHT goes back up, then up in smoke. Soooo, I went back to the original aircraft and quit paying attention to those stinkin' gauges. I'll just make sure my virtual parachute is packed correctly. I'm sure Real Air will get it fixed for us soon.
I like flying this 'cat and can even land it on a moving carrier....sometimes.
