Recently bought the RAZBAM F-102A...

...and I love it-- except for the flight dynamics. The external model is great (there are simply TONS of AF and ANG repaints that can be done), but handling characteristics (especially pitch response on takeoff...) are "less than optimum".

Does anyone know of a flight model mod on this thing to make it better flying? Having to trim full pitch up during the takeoff roll to get it airborne leads to porposing, and other nonsense.

Other than that...it's pretty cool.

A couple of afterthoughts:

1. I personally think that FS just DOESN'T do a good job of simulating these type of high performance aircraft (although Cloud9 did well with their F-104 and F-4...)
2. I'm looking forward to the RAZBAM A-7D (and A-7K!!!!), because in my opinion, those airplanes DO fall into the performance envelope (non-afterburning, subsonic) realm FS excels at....

About the take off performance...

The aircraft was not pulled off the runway with stick inputs as much as trimmed off. Also the airspeed at rotation was 200kias plus depending on weather conditions, payload weights, how big a breakfast the pilot had (jk) etc. One has to then whack in a LOT of trim before reaching the piano keys and not panicking as the aircraft goes past 180kias with no effort to rotate :)

The FD do have issues tho and I believe there are fixes out there for it.
