• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Redirect?

What's up with the constant message that I'm being "redirected" every time I post a reply on a thread? Is this something new with the "patch" that was loaded today?

I get that too I think it is just telling you that you message has been accepted and the redirect bit is saying you are going back to the forum not that you are being sent elswhere

Just double checked and that is exactly what happens that screen comes up then you arrive back here, just information that your post is recorded.

Yea, I get that. . .but why? What purpose does that serve though. I don't need to know that my post has been accepted or that I'm being sent back to where I was originally. So from what you're saying, everyone sees this. . .and I'm the only one who saw it as a problem? lol. . .oh well.:wiggle:

I get it here. Seems like a recent change. My guess is that it was part of the update the other day. It doesn't bother me any.

Forwarded this to the "rocket surgeons" on the staff. Not happening to me, but it is odd.

EDIT: It happened as I posted this post!

Canelo_Kid has fixed it. A setting in the forum software, one of about two thousand or so, more or less. Thanks for the HU, F-409.
