Good afternoon,

I wanted to let all of you know that I am going to be sparse in CFS2 for about three weeks. Tomorrow, I leave for California to spend Christmas with my wife's family. I will be out there four about six days, while she will stay another week, and then I will fly home to Boston for just under twenty-four hours, enough to tie up some loose ends on the 27th of December and pack for my solo trip to Europe.

I'll be in Germany for two weeks, not returning until January 11th, 2012. However, the good news is I am bringing my laptop with me, so I will continue to work on missions as time allows, and I am looking forward to meeting several of our CFS2 comrades, including Achim27619, Kelticheart, and Skylane, as well as Devildog73 and packing in as much as I can.

So if the approval process for uploads is a little slow in coming, please forgive me, but I'll see if I can get a couple of other hands to maybe cover me if I can't get to a computer for a couple of days.

Have a safe and great time with your family and travels, Rami!
And Have a Happy Holiday!

Cheers,
O

Have a great time.

Hi Rami
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and don't get the bags mixed up.
Cheers

Have a great trip Rami, both to the Left Coast and to Germany. Enjoy the broetchen, schinken, kaese. wuerste und bier and say "hi" to Wolfi, Jaxon, Achim and the rest of our brethren in the Fatherland.

I'm planning a trip to Germany in March and hope to link up with our Euro-friends then.

All good wishes for the Holydays

Dear Rami,

Please enjoy your holiday with the family - no one in this community has done more than you, so you definitely deserve a good holiday.

Should your trip to Germany bring you near Denmark, please let me invite you and your family for dinner.

All good wishes for the coming year

Finn

Finn,

The trip to Germany will be solo, and I do plan on visiting Achim in Kiel, so that's about as close to Denmark as I'm going to get, I think.

Good afternoon,

I am at Logan, so any uploads that come in after about 3:30pm will have to wait until sometime tomorrow.

Good morning,

Well, I'm going to be a travel monkey for the next few days. Today, it's Stuttgart - Salzburg via Munich. I will go through the forums once again this evening...and if I can find a camera cord that fits into my laptop, I will upload a plethora of pictures. Otherwise, I will do so when I return home on the 11th of January.

Attn. Kelti, Skylane, and Devildog...

Good afternoon,

Well, my worst fears were realized, and I got stuck in the Austrian Alps. I had to take a bus from Wogel to Innsbruck, and missed the 11:27 train!

I am currently headed toward Venice, I think, and if I get stuck, I will find lodging in Venice, or Milan if I end up there. Hopefully, I will still have a chance to meet Kelti, but if not, I will make my way back to Stuttgart.
Allow me to take this opportunity to say that Skylane was a most excellent tour guide, Salzburg was a wonderful town! :ernae:

sc7500,

Yes, that's true. And, I've taken LOTS of pictures. Hopefully, Kelti will have a plug for my camera...going through and coming down from Bremmer Pass has been AMAZING!

Good luck Rami. I can think of worse places to get stuck!

Yeah, I gotta agree with my brother Jagdfieger here!

Let me see, .... Austrian, Swiss, Italian Alps in January on a full-service European train.......not really that bad all things considered.
A room in an Italian hotel, off tourist season..........again, not that bad.
I have been in much worse situations for much longer periods of time.

In any case, Rams, we have German beer and food awaiting your return.
