Good afternoon,

Now that I'm settled in, I can post more pics! There are a couple of air museum pics in Salzburg, (which are all flyable!) along with Skylane showing me one of the Cessna Citation jet he flies, as well as my first morning / day in Deutschland. :icon29:

Hello again,

More pics...the last of Skylane's hangar, as well as pics of the outside of the hotel that he recommended for me, the first-class rail car going from Germany to Austria and Austria to Italy, and the bus I had to endure when there was an avalanche on the tracks getting to Innsbruck through a blizzard in the Alps.

Hello,

The final set of pics from the Schlossplatz, and a couple of the Munich hauptbahnhof. I'll post more pics tomorrow. :icon29:

Your pics from Stuttgart brought back some memories. I grew up in Germany, my mom is German and my dad was in the Army. I attended three different High Schools there, Hanau, Mannheim and finally I graduated from Stuttgart American High School in 83. They closed the school around 92.

We use to live in Pattonville Housing area so it was good to see signs for Patch Barracks. It's s lot different then that it is now.

I was stationed in Ramstein AB from 92-96 and both of my daughters were born in Landstuhl American Hospital.

Time sure goes by quick. Glad that you had an opportunity to check it out, the wife and I plan on going back one of these days. I do miss it at times, still have a lot of friends that are stationed in Germany.

T.

Hi,

Here are the last pictures from the Stuttgart area that I will post.

I am hoping to take my daughter over there on a "hop" this summer out of Dover AFB in Delaware to Ramstein. I like the shots od Stuttgart - we'll have to stop there for some sight seeing. Great pictures Rami.
