Registry cleaner

I'm getting an error indicating a "failed to load DLL...". I guess I need a good registry cleaner. Does anyone have some recommendations. I know that there are many freeware cleaners, but I am a bit afraid of freeware. I don't mind paying for a good cleaner. Help:salute:

Gotta agree, ditch Registry Cleaner and get Crap Cleaner, aka CC Cleaner from Piriform linked above.

John, I'm guessing from the previous responses you now know which ap is most favoured. I've been using CCleaner now for several years and have never had any issues with it. So another thumbs up from me.

CCleaner is the only one of many I have tried that has not screwed up my registry. I have never had a single problem running it and it is goof proof and very intuitive.

ccleaner for me also

I've used CCleaner for a couple of years now and have had no problems ,just make sure when you install check the box that says check for updates, that way when they come out with a new version you'll know it's time to update which they do about once a month.
