Regs Hurricanes freezes up my sim

I installed two of Regs hurricanes to CFS3 and both will freeze up the sim.
I have the latest weopens pak installed,ran the BDP nuker and got two flights out of the McIIc and one from the Sea Hurricane then the sim freezes up.
I took them out thinking I put a file somewhere I shouldent ,but even clicking on the MkIIC's name in the plane list would freeze up the sim.
I noticed there is no folder for the planes themselves so I made one with all the files the folder should have ,and still no good.I used winzips option to make a folder the second time ,same thing
I've had other planes do the same thing,but have installed a lot that work fine also.
What if anything am I doing wrong? Thanks
 
:kilroy:Hurricane3, exactly when is it freezing? Is it when you select a payload, or some other time? Because if ti's when you select a payload, you may noy have the right pylons or payload. Some things got left out of some of the planes of the original release. They have since been updated. You may want to download them again:d
 
The first time it froze is when I selected a payload.The second time ,I redownloaded again and flew it twice then it froze when I clicked on the plane in the plane list.
 
Forgot to mention I have skyunlimited's Hurricanes and they work fine but the only payload is drop tanks ,no bombs.

I think you do not have the right weapons installed.
Seems that you have missing weapons from MAW weapons folder.
You must have following folder.
Dr_Hurricane_drop_tank_SG
Dr_Hurricane_drop_tank_BLK
Dr_Hurricane_drop_tank_SKY

Hope this will work! do not forget do delete bdp!
 
Nope have all those files installed.Bombs would show up when I flew and drop normally,then whenI went to the home screen freeze up.
I also have the MkI repaint from here in night fighter version but it has no ordance of course,and works fine.
 
Do you have this in your .xdp file for the seahurricane?

Could be the sound file. Have a look at it in notepad a check you have the plane it refers to. The sound issue will let you fly the plane once then next time you go to fly the plane it will CTD you. Another way to check is to copy the existing one somewhere and then use one of the default aircraft sound files.
 
This is becoming to complex for me,just have to pretend that the drop tanks on my skyunlimited Hurri's are bombs.
Sure would have liked to have a hurribomber though,but such is life. Thanks guys for all you did trying to help.
 
:kilroy:Hurricane3, go back to Reg's Hangar and get the shared files again. The correct tanks and pylons were added after initial release, kind of an update. They were missing from the original release.:d
 
I put money on that it is the sound file. Replace it with the Spitfire default one and see if it works. If it does we will look at putting the correct sound files up at Reg's.
Also make sure you have the pylon and weapons zips. They are in the current share file. The first 2 where missing these zips.

PS,the shared files have the pylon and weapons zips,so thats not it.

Your xdp is screwed up.
In the 250lb loadout section, the lines concerning the pylons are messed up. Make the 250lb section the same as the 500lb bomb section (keep the 250lb bombs) and it should work.

Nice try guys ,I did everything you said and now just clicking on the Hurri in the plane list freezes up the sim,so I removed it .
After trying at least five times to get these Hurris to work I give up and will be happy with the one I got from Simouthouse and the Skyunlimted Hurries.
At least I have some Hurricanes.

REG's Hurricane

First of all, many thanx for the great effort You guys put into those great planes.

And about the problems, I have noticed that older Hurricanes from REG's (Russian ones) cause the mismatch problem. I have tryed everything, from renaming the files (namelenght) etc, and strictly controlled the path to the sound file. Howewer, no luck for now.

If someone could find a solution...
