Released: A1R Piel Emeraude

Thanks for the HU, much appreciated. Shame that it is the A model with the car doors and not the usual later Piel or Scintex versions with the bubble canopy. Have quite a few hours in them, so might be worth a look.

Wow! What a pretty little plane. I've never seen one in the States. I love the maple leaf livery.

Fabric wings and fuselage?? I want one. If anybody buys and flies, please post a review.

I've always loved the Emeraude. I purchased this one for FSX as soon as I saw this thread. I have been having fun with it. It is a good model, fun to fly and the appearance of the model, in and outside is nicely done. There is no paint kit available for it, although there is a white texture included. And Obie, believe it or not I saw a N numbered Emeraude at a local fly in, here in Northern Arkansas. It was several years ago and it was a nice looking small homebuilt, in person. At the time I was flying my TEAM HiMax heavy ultralight. I have no regrets about buying the Emeraude model. Course, with the Aeronca, the Davis, the wait for the Ryan SC and the A2A Texan, all my other A2A birds are beginning to rust a little.
