[FONT=&quot]I am much pleased to announce the release of the Damage Mod for Flight1’s BN-2 Islander.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]This addon brings a wear and failure engine to the Islander “à la Accusim”, based on the flight manual of the real airplane and the DM concept created by Ismail Hakki Güzel.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The following systems will wear out and will be inflicted damage in case of improper use :[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- engines[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- generators[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- propellers[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- flaps[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- flaps motor[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- flight controls[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- autopilot[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- vacuum[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- pitot tubes[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- brakes[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- structural deicing (the corresponding switch is added to the virtual cockpit)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- landing lights[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Extra features :[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- avionics dying if on when engine starts[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- blown tires in case of hard landing[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- foul spark plug if engine runs at low rpm and rich mixture for too long, (rpm drop during mag dead-cut test simulated)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- engine dies in case of quick throttle movement with fuel pump off[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- sluggish engine response to throttle input with cold engines[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- door lock and alarm[/FONT]

There's an error in the installation instructions. It reads:

Visible=0
Ident24479
Gauge00=BN2_PanelDM!BN2_PanelDM,1,1,350,665

Should be:

Gauge00=BN2_DMPanel!BN2_DMPanel,1,1,350,665

I agree with Alpha Charlie....your mods are fantastic, Kekelekou. I haven't had time to play around too much with your revisions yet, but I've been following your SOH thread for some time. The F1 Islander has always been a great plane, but it always seemed too 'sterile' and lacking in systems feedback. Your hard work has rectified those deficiencies....and then some! Great job.
