Released: The Milviz Corsair

Mark, beat me to this. Having been a small part of the fantastic project, I can say some of the best of the best made sure this great aircraft is a close to the real thing as possible. On thing I learned is the sound of the engine fluctuates with the RPM's of the engine. I thought the fantastic R2800 and throttle made all the sound difference. Give this feature a try while flying. Vary the RPM while cruising to see the difference. One feature that may still be found is the Whistling Death sound. It may still be added if someone comes up with a way to include it. Check out the manual and screen shots. Enjoy!!!

Fully agree! Re the whistling death sound: it has been done, check Warbirdsim Mustang. If you go beyond a certain speed it produces that whistling or howling sound.

Cheers,
Mark

Hello Chaps,

This one is a 100% a must on the credit card!

Just a quick question.....where can one get that aircraft carrier that is shown in the screenies please? Because they go kinda go "hand in hand". Yes...?

Cheers,
Tim.

I was hoping to read a lot of comments about this new Corsair by now....

I bet if this was the FSX forum my hope would've been accounted for abundandly... :)

Why *is* this news not in the FSX forum as well ?.... It's not like this Corsair model is only for P3Dv4, is it ??.....

So, how is it ?

Btw, @ Yoyo : what exactly is the little red highwing radial aeroplane in your website advert, coming right after the sailplane image ?...

Thanks!

jan

Well. The image above is from the new Solomon release, and depicts Sunrise Field (North Field) of the Rusell Islands in the Solomons. I'm working on the new release now, with all the corrected airfields for P3D.

It's almost done. Release of Solomon 1943 V3 is just a matter of days. Milviz Corsair beat me to it :) Good enough, worth it! That Corsair is so awesome.

Cheers,
Mark
