Remember How

Dog I'm talking about changes of a few hundered meters, not miles. Well within VFR range. Don't get wrapped up in the numbers. CFS2's world is not an exact copy of the real one. You'll go nuts if you do. Ask MR when he gets back, he'll tell you the same thing. I didn't listen to him the first time I set out to recreate airfields. Fair Warning.

Noumea will be quite a challenge, quite a busy place with 2 Dromes and a Seaplane base. There was also another field on New Caledonia called De Gaiacs. Here's the Pacific Wrecks link to the main page for the area.
Good Luck with your project.

Thanks ME;

That field in the first post is Wewak Central - Wirui. MS missed the location for the stock one by about 3.5-4 miles. Theirs is at the base of Cape Wom. They missed by one peninsula.

Noumea
thanks info,i even found googling the air base layout map with all info on it etc

Moving Forward

Well Wewak-Wirui is done other than a bit more thining of the GSL. Too much stuff in too small an area to do both it and Boram "Full Tilt". I got the texture and the BGL for Boram done tonight. Even got a few Palms planted. Even though the two fields were close to one another Wirui was more "Junglesque" and Boram was cut out of a Palm Plantation. Two very different looks. Here an overhead of the area now.

But East and West should be pretty quick though Cape Wom will have to wait for a bit until I can get the Ground textures changed and an Scenery Exclusion for the stock field.

More to Come.....
