I designed my chassis and rewinds. For 2 years I was almost unbeatable.
I used small Ruskits motors with 29 turns of #30, geared at 4:1.
Unreal!!

Slot car racing was a thing my dad and I really got in to doing together. Moved to AK in '68 and POOF!, no slot car tracks. Never had room to build a track at home so I just sort of fell out of it. Great fun, though. LA

Built an HO scale track for the kids back in '76. Whenever we had a party the adults would take over and have a blast. Ended up donating it to our local church youth group. Lots of fun.
