Repaint for Carenado Cessna 172N SX-AWD

Dimus

SOH-CM-2025
This is my second repaint that I do for a plane belonging to my club and the one I hope to be allowed to fly soon after I finish my PPL (hopefully one day!) This time a C-172 for the Carenado model. Again the mirrored textures made me shrink the registration a bit to fit the space allowed by Carenado but not much and the plane is more or less correct. The actual plane has a GPS built into the dash but I have not yet mastered panel manipulation, maybe some time later.

The file can has just been uploaded her and at Avsim so give it some time and you will find it.

A few pics, the first is the real thing:

Again the scenery behind the pics is my Tatoi LGTT scenery which is just finished and hopefully will be uploaded tomorrow.

Hope you enjoy it.

Lovely paint mate. I appluad you and many others who repaint the Carenado Cessna 172. I did and deleted my attempted paint scheme well after 5 minutes as I saw how frustrating it was to get things done right.

Thanks guys. It is indeed a bit tricky to align the curves between the parts and that mirror thing is a problem.

I see that it is now up here at SOH. Avsim did not like my readme because i did not include an email and rejected it. I will reapload there later in the evening at home as Avsim for some reason is blocked by our work server.

Lining up parts is indeed tricky, didn't have the strenght to finish my 2010 cessna colours.

Very nice paint sir :salute:

Nice look to that....

You're going to enjoy flying the real thing. Because I'm over 6" 2" and weigh 260 lbs, I opted to train in a -172 from the start. Very nice, but a bit more pricey.
