• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Repainting Woes

Negative, I was looking into that but I thought a cfg was like the old "alias". How would I go about setting up a texture.cfg for that specific folder? Will google it to see what comes up.

Just copy one from another texture folder. I've just looked into the 206 texture folders and I see there are no texture.cfgs in the Carenado folders. Have you copied all the other textures into your texture folder?

I just want to highlight this thread in the Repainters Forum. It doesn't seem to get much traffic over there.

I'm sure someone here knows the answer and can lead my in the right direction to my questions, which I can't seem to wrap my head around.

Two things to look at. . .I assume you've set up a new texture folder for your livery. . .be sure that you moved all the textures into that new folder. Usually I'll set up a new folder, then go to the main texture folder and copy everything and paste it in the new folder, then simply overwrite the files I'm changing. Also, the shadowing is natural. if you look at the rudder it is kicked over slightly, no problem there.

Dang Roger. . .beat me to it again, lol. Yea, It's my impression that the shadowing is a natural shadowing because the rudder in that image seems to be kicked over slightly, which would give it some shadow. Now if, once you get into the game it's still that way even in direct sunlight, it could be some other problem, but I think you're ok with that.

Thank you guys, that did it. Now to touch up the lines and slap on my tail number.

See I knew I would get answer within an hour from this site. Had another thread at one of those other sites for 2 days and no responses.

Another reason SoH is the best.
