Repeating textures with UTX/GEX - cornfield effect

Oh man, I've seen that second image before off the east coast of Florida. What I also noticed was a lack of lakes showing up in the interior US. Going to spots I knew had lakes and not finding any at all. I uninstall UTX and everything came back and the anomalies went away. I reinstalled UTX a few weeks later and I haven't noticed that since.
 
Dont think it needs a full reinstall-just a reset of the textures or something liek that from the control panel IIRC
