Republic F-84F 131st TFS Massachusetts ANG

The 'Super Hog' in SEA camouflage. 52-6701 of the 131st TFS, Massachusetts ANG in the late 1960's. Currently preserved at Robins AFB, Georgia. This will form the basis of an Hellenic Air Force repaint next.



The camouflage blends well with the English countryside n'es pars??



Flying south, passing over the A303 near Netheravon, Wiltshire with Boscombe Down in the distance. Scenery is the Orbx England, weather REX Extreme.

Oops. Dave, one small problem.

The texture.cfg refers to fuselage.seacamo by mistake. It should refer to fuselage.701 per the texture folder name.

Just wondering - did the F-84F operate over SEA, or did they just carry that camo scheme while still based in the US ? My interest in this model is rising with all these excellent repaints.

As far as I can tell, the SEA camo was applied to many aircraft used by the ANG Stateside only; the F-84F was not used offensively in SEA I don't think.

WH - Sorry about the texture.cfg!! my mistake; I was trying to be consistent with the pattern of file naming SSW uses (my file is seacamo hence the confusion!).

Here's the update. Fixes the texture.cfg anomaly and contains a small mod to the F84F_T_02 file.
