(Thanks to Conor and Shane over at HC for posting links to this series. :salute:)

"Rescue 117" is a 6 episode series on RTE, Irish Television, that follows the Irish Coast Guard's rescue service from their Waterford Rescue Base.
It documents many of their rescue activities over a 6 month period.

Right now it is available, thanks to RTE, internationally from their website.
Each episode is approximately 20 minutes or so, and will only be available for a limited time.
It's been a pretty good watch so far, so I thought I would pass it along over here.

Yep..haven't had a chance to watch it yet but it looks like a great series from the trailers that I've seen.

I got to "shoot" one of their S-61's at a local Fly-In recently...

:)

Yeah, its good to have an aviation related show to watch that documents actual rescues by helicopter.
Not staged like a lot of these other 'reality' shows seem to be anymore.

I also liked the fact it's tradition at the base for the Captain (boss) to make tea or coffee for the rest of the crew while on watch. :d

Great pics BTW, KD! :applause:
