Resized tree/cloud textures?

Due to some hard drive issues, I had to reinstall FSX yesterday, and I'm trying to find a couple of tweaks that I had previously installed but can't find now.

Specifically, I'm trying to find either a set of resized (smaller) textures for the autogen trees and clouds, or a .bat file to convert the existing ones to a smaller size.

I know there was a .bat file on the old Avsim forums when FSX first came out (late 2006 I think), but searching the file libraries at Avsim, here, and at allnodes has turned up nothing.

Does anyone know where those tweaks might still be available?

Well, Avsim and Flightsim have a few ready-to-go "resized textures" packs if that's what you're looking for.

I managed to find packs for resized autogen textures (both buildings and trees), but I'm not finding anything for the clouds.

Are there any re-sized cloud textures for FSX out there that aren't part of something like REX or FEX?

I use the FS9 FSSkyworld textures, they work flawless for me, and run pretty good, they have lower res ones, too, I think... In my opinion they look pretty good in FSX, maybe worth a try for you, too...

I suggest using free TreeX addon for trees. They look better than the default and it has an option to install lower resolution tree textures.
