A great plane!
However, I have following problem (MSFS2024): Despite precise engine management, the oil temperature goes up very quickly and reaches the yellow mark in a short time and goes further up almost to the red mark. The cowl flaps are fully open.
What am I doing wrong?
Am I missing an additional required setting?

An other possibility can be that the "oil parameters" or "cowling parameters" are not tuned.

Just browsing the new files at .to (4 AM. Thank you insomnia) and bumped into this little gem. Broussard Improvement that adds 4 paint jobs and an ENGLISH Cockpit. Just downloaded but haven't flown it yet.

Well, if you’d posted in the Broussard topic I’d have seen it. Didn’t click that one because the title didn’t give any idea what was being shouted about.

Anyway, it’s a cool add-on, and really nicely tweaks the Broussard. And the English instruments are appreciated. Trying to cold start the new Restauravia P-36 was definitely testing my ability to translate a language I have no education in!

Regarding your issues with the Curtiss cold start, have you consulted the English PDF documentation?

I've replaced the engines.cfg in this mod with the engines.cfg from my own DHC2 mod because the DHC2 uses the same engine. I've attached the file below if you'd like to try it:
