SOH-CM-2026
Just back from this years show after a gap of 3 years. A fantastic display, both in the air and static, even with the 30+ temps. Maybe its because i've missed it for a few year's but it really seem'd like the best for a decade. I dont take many pics these day's but i caught a few classic's, esp the Swedish historic flight's Viggen,Draken and Lassen, and probably the only time ive ever seen a A-4 Skyhawk up close.

Nice photos, Ian!

I knew the Swedish Historical contingent was there, but none of the coverage I saw showed the Lassen, so thank you.
Interestingly, that's the first shot I can remember that shows the Lassen's unusual airbrake.

Now, how did you get the shots without crowds, or were the lookeeloos all salivating over the modern (after they were born) hardware as usual?

thanks srgalahad, i have a bit of a system, i wait until around 5-6 in the evening when the suns less sharp and the crowds die down and work my way around the static park before im kicked off the airfield :biggrin-new: To be fair, the RIAT team did an exceptional job of arranging the statics this year :encouragement:

Thank you for sharing these photos, Ian! It is nice to see Fred Akary's F-86 Sabre from France there, and I saw elsewhere that Georg Raab's P-51 Frances Dell from Germany was also there.
