• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Okay, some of youse guys wih better memories than me, ,,,,,,,.............:redf:..................//////////////;;;;;''''''''''''''''':kilroy:

How do I correct the error: "Cannot find SBD2_Dauntless" and CTD? :kilroy:

I have cut out the old and transplanted a stock and still get the error.
I renumbered the entire airbase.dat and it is in sequence.
I have deleted *.cdp, deleted filelist.dat.
I am under 90 planes..........

*Make sure your QC file contains the plane by folder name "SBD2_Dauntless"
*Make the same check for the mdlnames.txt
*Delete all INDEX files from the main CFS2 directory and allow the sim to rebuild them on reboot - you'll also have to reinstall all of your current scenery library, so back up your scenery.cfg first so you'll have a reference for restoring your present scenery order.

Did it happen when you were adding a plane, does it happen with all planes? I have a seperate CFS2 Install that I don't touch, just copy it for new installs rather than install a new one from disk. Sometimes I will use it to add one thing at a time until I find the problem. Did you check the "error" folder in the main install and did it tell you anything?
