Right that, crits be damned.. (more WIP shots)

Been there; done that:engel016:
It's so hot here in the uk at the moment I'm waiting 'til later (and cooler) before I give my vid card a work out.

Aw jeez Mathias. I dont even LIKE the FW-190, but what you have done visually is absolutely stunning.. Incredible worksmanship being shown there.. Cudo's dude. majorly huge cudo's.. Please keep posting more ..

Some fresh external shots of "late" production Fw190A models, various standard A-6, 7 and 8 plus an R-2.

Wow!!! Excellent work on the shots and I simply love the scheme on this livery! Can't wait, and I doubt I'll fly the early ones once I get the later variants in my hands, which are my favorites due to the look of the curves of the upper decking around the guns.

Thanks SolarEagle.
I know what you mean re the later variants being the more appaeling.

To me it's not necessarly the gun fairing.
It can't be under-estimated what the 152 mm that the engine has been moved fore from the A-5 onwards did to the overall visual appearance.
I think the shots below tell it quite good.
First is an A-6 with the longer nose but otherwise the same fairing.
Second is an A-4 with the shorter nose.

Now those are some nice looking bumps!

Thanks rwmarth.

Bit of cockpit W.I.P.
Just scratches and lighting on the major surfaces yet, no dirt, no special action to the instruments so far.
The last one is the most recent showing some more progress on the forward panel plates.
We're now close to baking the stuff.

Excellent VC work - those textures are just getting better and better

Lovely! The wear and tear is making such a difference to that VC, a "collector's mint, still in the box" look just doesn't cut it, imo.

Quicky ingame shot of the office chair. :bump:
Guess the lighting/ambient occlusion doesn't turn out too bad on this one.

I had not read the engine was moved but that explains some of additional visual changes. Thanks for the comparision pics. VC is looking quite sharp as well!
