| I received an email from the GoFundMe f0or Matt Wagner. I know this is mostly a MSFS forum, but many of us also use DCS and are aware of Matt and his instructional videos. Matt had bone cancer and recently posted on how he was going to have a bone marrow transfer. I don't know if he ever did. We are devastated by the passing of our dear friend, Matt “Wags” Wagner. We are proud and eternally grateful to have been able to call him a friend and mentor, and even more grateful for the time and memories we were fortunate enough to share with him. Please keep Matt and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We also ask that you surround our friends at Eagle Dynamics with love and kindness as they mourn the loss of someone so incredibly close to them. Even in his final days, Matt made every effort to remain available to the people he cared about and to let us know just how much he appreciated all of us. That was Matt. Even while facing something unimaginable himself, he was still thinking about the people around him. The funds raised through the GoFundMe will continue to support Matt’s family through this heartbreaking time, helping relieve some of the financial burdens that come with his passing and allowing his family the space to grieve and heal. Matt’s final message to us is one that will live in our hearts forever. We will carry his words, the memories we made, and everything he taught us forever. We love you, Wags. |
