Hi All,
Here it is, all finished. I have to package it up and I'll have it available tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
Yes, I did take a break. As with all breaks, none are long enough. After this I'm really going to take some time off and do something different.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - American
Description: Hi All,
This aircraft represents a FM-1 Wildcat, Black 4, BuNo 46776, off the USS Guadalcanal, CVE-60, of Composite Squadron VC-58 in 1944.
On June 4, 1944 the U-505 was captured on the high seas by the Guadalcanal and its Task Force, 22.3. It was the first enemy ship captured by the Navy intact since the War of 1812.
This repaint is for the B24 Guys OH F4F-4. The FM-1 was the same aircraft only made by the Eastern Aircraft Corp., General Motors.
Make sure to read the ReadMe. This is a complete aircraft with some extras thrown in.

It's truly fantastic that we have all of these Wildcat variants now. I didn't realize until I read your description that the US Navy went 132 years between ship captures!

Hi Bub,
I don't know if I missed something somewheres or not because the VC gauges were not showing. So I replaced the VC section in the panel.cfg with the stock Wildcat VC sections and the VC gauges now show okay. Otherwise everything else is working fine, nice work!

I forgot to include a updated dp file in the upload. I moved the pylons and droptanks, bombs, depth charges, out a smidge. It makes it look a little better.
All you have to do is:
delete the cdp first and open the dp in Notepad, or whatever you use, and change the mounts to look like this,
mount.1=-1.55,-0.3,-0.309969
mount.2=-1.55,0.6,-0.38 // L drop tank
mount.3=1.55,-0.3,-0.309969
mount.4=1.55,0.6,-0.38 // R drop tank
mount.5=-1.55,-0.3,-0.309969
mount.6=1.55,-0.3,-0.309969
mount.7=-1.55,-0.47,-0.50
mount.8=1.55,-0.47,-0.50
Sorry for the omission, it should look like this.

(lol) I thought I messed up installing it correctly last night so I wasn't quite sure. I was too tired last night to investigate much and just copied the VC sections in.
Yeah, having fun and got your DP update added. I just got some take offs and landings in last night on land runways. My North Atlantic install is not quite complete with carrier training yet, so I'll get those done and get some carrier practice (that's been awhile).
