Rob Richardson's DH.125 Jet Dragon - released

I would like to say nice work and the last De Havilland design. I have a major snag in that when I load the aircraft it loads correctly with no textures or graphics missing and in a cold n dark state (my standard flight start situation) the aircraft proceeds to literally bounce about going left and right up and down like a bit of a jig. I can start the engines and with crash detection off get airborne and it seems to behave normally but will not stop still on the ground, any ideas? Never seen this before with any other sim model.

Have you got FSX acceleration installed?

Next paint is the Swiss Chartag-operated HB-VAG. Should be up on FlightSim.com tomorrow.

Great and beautiful aircraft.
Thank's Rob.

Thanks for the DH/HS 125, Rob; very nicely done. Always thought the 125 was a very nifty little jet. Took G-ASSM on a hop from Wellington, NZ, down to Queenstown at about 12K (didn't want to go too tall) and 500 kts groundspeed at local sunset. Brought her in a bit too hot as I had to stand on the brakes but still managed to use up nearly all the runway. I'll learn... ;)

I love these old jets! :) Here I've found a short glimpse (at 5'40'') of the DH.125 in a video about the Farnborough air show in 1962, please enjoy!

Best regards,
Elmar

It would appear not despite my thinking it was part of my FSX package. Sigh! Not sure what to do now but how to get an addon for a defunct software product by MS that was only sold as a box product is beyond me at the moment. DH125 will have to be parked for a while. Thanks for the response.

You should be OK with just service pack 2 installed. Only thing is the radar gauge in the 125 won't work.

Both Acceleration and FSX Gold are still readily available on sites such as Amazon and not expensive either.

Nick.

I think its important to make clear that the model is a DH 125 and not a Dominie.

There will be those quick to point this out.

Just thought I'd get in first.
