After seeing a reference to the Triumph Rocket II in another thread, I did a little surfing and found a video that was rather informative. It details the 21st century methods employed by the factory to make such a machine. Since I didn't want to hijack that thread, I decided to post it here...

At the request of CheezyFlier in the thread that I suspect started this I'll post up some pictures of my Rocket and my smiling mug.

This one is the first day that I got my Rocket, I had not ridden it yet as I was just 2 weeks outta the wheelchair from my bike crash.

I don't know how any of you feel about God and no I'm not going to be taking a collection afterwards, but I didn't know God before all of this and I shutter to think what would have become of me if I had not woken up anyone of the three times that I died that day, Sept. 18, 2006.

Love the part of the girl programming the suspension so it can immediately change direction, lol.. And the engines grown in a thick brown sludge, left to incubate in a cabinet next to the photo copiers, later to be injected with healthy steroids...

I had dirt bikes when I was a kid, and as much as I would love to ride a street bike, there is just no way I could ever justify the risks. After looking at those Xrays, all I have to say is OOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCHHHHH!!!!

I know, I'm 6'-2" and in those pictures I tipped the scales at around 360 lbs or so, as of now, I'm still 6'-2" but I am down to a svelte 275 lbs and I'm no longer bald.

I too love the Warrior, it is a wonderful bike I still have the one that I crashed, I just couldn't bear the thought of some local yahoo dragging it up on the bed of his roll-back and hauling it off for parts. That was the first thing that I had ever painted that was bigger than 1/24 scale and it won Best Paint and Best of Show in the only show I entered it in before the crash. Not to brag but it also won People's Choice, Best Foreign and Best Domestic, but they wouldn't let me have that trophy, lol. I also did all of the polished aluminum on it, things like the wheels, swing-arm, engine covers and those little arms that hold the rear fender on (we call them fender stays). I've got a picture of the bike before I did anything to it, it's not the best pic in the world but it's the only one that survived my computer crash.

That was bad timing. I was writing at the same time you were CadFather. I was laughing at that video. Sorry about your accident. I have been in 2 myself. Nothing that bad, thank the Lord. Glad you made it through it..
