Rotor wash / down wash effect missing?

How does the rotor wash / down wash look for everybody else when over water?
The movement of the water is there, but I looks like something is missing, like water spray / particles.

Been flying a few choppers lately & have only just noticed this issue after you mentioned it.

Pretty sure it was there before SU3.
