• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

I am having CTD or mission improperly formatted on several of these missions and the culprit is apparently VN_Neworleans according to the error log. My original issues were due to empty panel and sound folders in the VN ships. I fixed that but the VN_ Neworleans keeps showing up in the error log in each of the missions that fail. Any ideas?

....check for spelling errors and all relevant entries match. Also make sure that the .cfg is in fact that and not .cgf.


ADDENDUM; I DO NOT at this time have theat ship active in my little fleet. However I did look at the zip file and the Model is for the VN_SanFran with all other items reading VN_new Orleans. Probably go into the Model file and rename everything to VN_ New Orleans and you will be underway.
 
TheBookie could not get your file to open, however I went into the files of the ship and renamed everything VN_ neworleans, without a space between the new and Orleans.
Apparently that was the issue. All missions seem to be working now. Have an issue with us_b-25_Marauder but expect to work that out. Also need to find b-25AI bombs. should be all running soon.

Found it! Thanks. Although the instructions don't say so, I guess I should install the b25d_Mitchell .dp in the Aircraft folder, replacing the original.

That's correct highpockets,

b25d_mitchell.dp ====> Aircraft Folder.

B25_AI_Bombs.dp =====> OBJECTS_DP

There were 2 vn New Orleans made,The one at SOH is named VN_New_Orleans and the otger vn_neworleans. which was never uploaded.

Here is error log on the only mission in the Coral Sea group that I have problems with.

Originally I made the missions you are talking about and they worked fine.I was taught"If it ain't broke don't fix it"Ramis solution is " If it ain't broke Complicate it" You're not the only person to have problems with these missions. You keep things simple there are less things that can go wrong.
