Glad to hear the F-8 is so far along in construction. It will be a great addition to FSX.

The Crusader might end up as a Christmas gift if we're enough patient...

I read the hint about that possibility and hopefully the open beta will arrive around that time. Either way, it's great news that the Crusader is not too far from being done and surely it's going to be a great model based on all the excellent past works from the RFN Team.
