The old (and ground breaking) CFS 2 campaign, September War came with some nice rolling stock and and an armoured locomotive if you need a military train for your project.

Don't forget that Canion also created railroad tracks (curved and straight) in his ETO package #1.
 
Point of Order....

Just played around with these trains a bit.... It's been quite a while since I had them out on the floor.

Anyone else notice that Gius' tracks and armored train pieces are 3 times LARGER than the stock editions ?

How shall we standardize this [besides putting some farther away than others ] ?

Decompile and change scale and size ?
Or recompile in gmax and if posable add lods and adjust with authors permission.

That would be the ticket, RJ - the train cars in question are native CFS2 constructs, and M$ REALLY gets angry if we de-compile their toys.... Or DO they ? lol :icon_lol:

I have a few projects on the go. could send 3d models for scaling,adding damage.Will be uploading a tutorial to make exploding objects with gmax soon.

Just wanted to say this is an excellent thread full of good info. Looking forward to D/L'ing and playing (AKA Shooting At...) the Choo Choo's.

Hey all,

If I may chime in here...the railroad tracks by Gius were a stopgap measure requested by me when I was working on the first incarnation of "Tidal Wave." The curved and straight railway tracks by Canion are a much better choice, and they don't have the CTD problems that the Gius version had.

As far as railway cars, Wolfi's rail cars are excellent, but as Jagdflieger pointed out, the choices from the September 1939 / Fall Weiss 1939 are also viable as well.
