RTW 2017 Interest???

Ya, thats the big question- what helo's will be whitelisted. As for the rest of the planes, I think the list is essentially stripped down to 7 or so with the hard time cap of 48 hours and a mandated route to 'closest to finishline'.

I am definitely interested in participating again this year, I just need to get a few things taken care of before the race. Though I will probably not be available for part of the day on both Friday or Saturday because of work, I'll have to see exactly what time when we get closer.

Anyone know if FLIGHTSIM is gonna field a team this year ? I know they were hurting for pilots this year and it would feel odd not having them in the race this year.

How about SOH? Will they field a team this year?
 
As I understand it, there are TWO pilots that are going to give it a go for Flightsim: PhantomTweak and ponchovilla.

LOL thanks for editing your first response. I was never mad, just frustrated.

Money is no substitute for lack of pilots. I asked earlier because I had not heard from anyone but PRB and Rob and I know some who practiced cannot make it. I figured you would be here. Thanks.
 
Just an FYI for you SOH folks: YES, Flightsim IS fielding a team this year. All 3 of use, one a dead-on rookie. My lovely wife to be exact. Screen name MissGhost. Myself and Poncovilla are the "normal" pilots. I don't know how well we'll do with our roster this year, but we're iving it a shot, anyway.
