RTWR 2014 Practice #1 "See The USA"

Someone needs to jump in here for S21 to KBLI.

KBLI wx right now is foggy, 1 nm visibility but you have landing aids with a glideslope.

EDIT: Meanwhile, I'm going to do a test flight to practice if I can't be a wing man

:icon_lol:

If it's that bad it may be worth waiting for the fog to lift, it is only a practice after all.

Although having said that it would be good practice for bad weather approaches. :encouragement:

According to Moses' first post rules:

-Pilots may fly consecutive legs if the baton has been idle for at least one hour (based on post time).

Nah, that's okay. 15 mins out from KFCA, a good next leg from KBLI. Beautiful flight in the Bearcat with a 50knt tailwind :) 450K GS.

EDIT: KBLI fog was very thin layer; easy to see approach.

Next leg available is S21 to KBLI; who wants it?

Ok, I'll give it a whirl.

I have the baton, S21 - KLBI, AH Spitfire Mk XIX.

I'll go onto the server once I get going

(BTW, no functional mic so no TS)

At 17 minutes out, my dog shut down my computer (again). The baton is back at S21.

Did find a few wrinkles in the Spitfire though so at least I accomplished something.

Sorry to hear about your dog Willy; I 'm sure he was a good'en. :)

The pilot of the next leg needs to keep in mind that he/she needs to leave a 300+ nm leg into KINL while having a leg greater than 300 nm for their leg. There is a window of roughly 125 nm to play with so it should be fairly easy to work the airports in.
