ME TOO!!!! I wish FSD had finished the GA jet they were doing for FSX....what an awesome plane!

FSD had an almost ready FS9 version of a JETSTAR(not Sabreliner)which they dumped for a "Better" FSX Version-->which never appeared.I would even pay for the FS9 version as FSD planes usually work fine in FSX coming from FS9 (Aerostar 700)

Yep....I would too. Jetstar was always a fav of mine...especially those USAF lizard paint jobs!
Very frustrating when something that looks this well developed gets dumped. Would port it to FSX in a flash (I actually like making the usually few tweaks to make ports work) and one would have thought they would release what they had already sunk the time and cost of for cheap $ or as a goodwill freebie. Same thing happened with Bill Lyon's Turbo Mallard after he retired.

The screenshots sure looked nice.
A group effort did a good job of bringing the Falcon 50 into FSX. Maybe the same can be done with a Sabreliner?

I agree, however, therein lies the problem, there is no Sabreliner worth putting the time into to get it into FSX. There are only two and neither one has a VC. By the time someone (or some group) invested the amount of time necessary to revamp one of them and develop a comprehensive, functioning VC, it would be more logical to simply build an FSX Sabreliner from scratch. At least that's how I view it. My guess is that will happen just like a native F-100 Super Saber will happen.:salute:

The Navy and Marines did in fact fly the Sabreliner for many years.

From Wikipedia - "Today, VT-86 trains Naval Flight Officers and Navigators/Combat Systems Officers in the U.S. Navy's T-39 Sabreliner and T-45C Goshawk. Retirement of the T-2C Buckeye, which preceded the T-45, was completed in September 2008."
I flew the T-39 at VT-86 back in 1977, so they've been operating those aircraft for a long, long time.

Yes and a constant for now in the skies around NAS Pensacola, soon to be phased out. I'm using the Stone model as AI, but wouldn't mind having one to fly around in FSX, a real classic jet.
