Sad ain't it?

Hey All,
I watched most of that race on TV Caz. Yes it is sad that Pontiac is gone but you know the world is right when Pontiac beats Porsche.
But I'll tell you what is really sad. A driver can flat out lie to race officials and not get any punishment of any kind. That is what is truly sad. Would simply never happen in NASCAR. I'll keep track of F1 cause I said I would but I know there are not ethics or honesty in that sport - just like when one driver pulled er over an parked his car so another driver could win - so I quit watching. Seems in F1 money (gotta have Hamilton in the racce) matters more than honesty or ethics ever did.
That is truly sad.

I hate to be picky but the 'Pontiac' is an uglified version of the GM Australia Holden Monaro ..... with a bigger engine I hasten to add.
A 350 should be provide enough grunt for anyone, and I also notice it wears a 'Pratt & Miller' decal, if they race prepped the car it should win!
'Honesty and Ethics' departed F1 when one M. Schumacher arrived, any remaining traces vanished with the retirement of Mikka the Flying Finn, Jean Alesi and David Coulthard!

First Caz I apologise for the threadjack. But the FIA decision was wrong. It was in essence turned into a fight at higher levels when the real bottom line is simple - Hamilton lied - no if's ands or buts about it - and he walks - scot free. Some might say well he's young - I call BS - ask any war vet if he should be a man by age 24. It was a fight at higher levels and protect the money Hamilton brings. A very sad commentary. I can't support that kind of sport and I am sad to see Pontiac go. We've (my family) had a few.
