I'm watching the news right now (breaking my no-cable-news after-8PM rule). So far the police are saying there's no obvious evidence of drug OD or of foul play. They're continuing to investigate. I had a HUGE star crush on Whitney when I was younger. Very saddened by this.

I remember her from the film "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner. She was a beautiful lady, and very talented. Sad to say, the long history of drug use probably played a part in her passing. I reckon we'll never get the full story. Rest in peace.

She was a beautiful woman, had a outstanding voice. It breaks my heart to read something like this about a person who had everything going for her. It just goes to show you having mega bucks still won't buy happiness.

Sorry for reopening an older thread but this young lady is truly quite a talent . If you weren't watching the video of her you would swear it was Whitney . It sent chills down my back .
