Saitek trim wheel help meeeee

please....think id forget that??..lol..i have one,had it working once,but not since and i didnt change anything.ive used its driver and software,but nothing works,i delete that and try dowsons FSUIPC and it will show its working,then when i try it,,nothing..ive also ,and prefer to have it setup in spad next,it shows its working in the software,but when i go to my plane,its not working. im getting frustrated as all heck.

I found that if I keep my trim wheel connected to my PC when booting up Windows hasn't really seen it properly.
Then when I start the Sim the wheel either wont work or cause some other anomaly.

All I do is once windows has finished booting I give the trim wheel a couple of spins until I hear the Bing Bong sound of Windows detecting hardware.
After that It work OK in Sim.

ok,,thank you...ill try to get the bing-bong before i start the sim,see if that helps..
