Salt Air, the CFS 2 guys did a conversion of the AS P-80 to their sim and one of their really excellent painters, Morton, did about a half dozen or so paints for it. No reflective textures, but excellent work all around. They should be here in the archive under his name.

only over ran Chiang Kai Shek Int'l by,,,, oh say 40 NM,,,,U-turn at 500+ kts (plane did well)...whatever flight stands.

I'm just happy to get away with my life from the Wenches that Dave left behind in Hong Kong.

I've got some stories,,,,,and pictures.....whew!

So during yet another re-read of the simplest rules I've ever had to follow....(scary, eh?)....it's looks like I neglected to add the Hong Kong bonus to my totals.

Instead of going back through and making all the reflective changes in previous posts, I'll just make a note in the next one to bring totals back current.

Can't seem to read when it's nice and quiet,,,,,gots to get out here on a flight with little or no NAV help, water for 360 degrees and a cross wind from 260 at 120 kts,,,,,I may wind up in Iwo Jima..:173go1:

Nearly a 30 degree difference in course and heading due to 120 kt x winds for 90% of the flight. Sure glad it was daytime even if the vis was low.

Breakfast?.....looks like the only thing open here is running a special on dog biscuits,,,,,who knows ,,,could be good....:barf:

That's a great idea Moses!,,,but with all the trouble I've stirred up here I better go and just do a mail order thing for the next time I head this way. Should help me blend in better next time too,,,,maybe they won't recognize me....:wiggle:


Hey,,,let's get back to the "States",,,,,tempted to make another long flight, but I've opted to do some island hopping instead.

First stop (if I don't drift tooo far off course) will be the Eareckson AS at Shemya, AK.
