Leaving Boeing Field in the Bronze Class Cessna 177RG for Bowerman Field on the low course skipping Orcas Island... KBFI - KHQM

Flight aborted do to a runtime error(???) .... whatever, it's always somethin' .... I'll pick it back up and restart later tonight or tomorrow after the trouble is fixed.

LMBO

Okay fingers crossed this time

Leaving Boeing Field in the Bronze Class Cessna 177RG for Bowerman Field on the low course ... KBFI - KHQM

Leg 2 KHQM - 4S2

Opening flight complete ... finally.

Looks like computer will (may) hold out (knock wood) for a little longer so we'll continue down to Hood River for some breakfast.

Leaving Hood River heading to Pangborn Memorial

Wow you doing tewiffic Austin... weelwy weelwy well. What a great wace we are sharwing. No weckwessness for you... what a wival you are.

Btw... be weewly careful when going to Fangorn... those Ents can be quite cwafty.

A safe landing at Pangborn .... safe, but very interesting.

Had to hold cruise altitude until less than 10 NM from the airport, then literally drop in two steps down to the runway making the final approach from a 1 NM right base leg .... not much chat from the dude on board until long after we got parked.

Noticing a ton of terrain issues so far .... sure glad it's daylight and relatively clear.

CA for the Cardinal is 6800' .... makes life at the Wighteous Western Woundup weally wonderful.

Made Spokane in one piece.

Weather started to turn .... clouds piling up and turning dark .... winds shifting all around ... were headwinds the whole way.

Decided to try landing with a slight (3kt) tailwind .... pushed me in too soon too high so I took the parallel runway that had a threshold further away.

Good idea, but that runway is shorter so I over ran a bit .... reckon I'll have to find some windex to remove the face mark from the passengers side of the windshield.

Yeah ... dude was asleep through the whole ordeal ... I told him he must have had a nightmare.

Leg 6 S27 - KBZN

One more this smornin' out of Glacier Park to Yellowstone .... a couple of well known names that speak to easy going fun times, but the one after this to Jackson Hole? .... anyway, a little fuel and a pack of Nabs with a Coke to go.

What a real nice place to fly ... perfect location for an event!

Thanks to all the hard working Western Roundup crew .... good one guys!

Safely landed at Yellowstone.

Had to break out of the CA zone ... way too close to Ms. Murphy's ceiling limit .... it got kinda tight through the higher elevations along the route when the visibility took a turn to the low side of the scale .... woulda been IFR in real life for a bit.

Lots of fun in GAs ... great idea!

Leg 8 KJAC - 36U

Further south through the highlands headed out to Sundance.

Looks by the map as though I may have to duck a few peaks so it may not be as straight a path as I would like.

Sure does beat working though .... :applause:
