Scenery and random locations

Every now and again this happens. At startup I change the location from the default airport to one of my choosing but after loading the sim puts me somewhere else. Anyone else come across this issue and is there an answer?

The scenery (airport) problem is ramped in P3D v5. I would say 1 our 5 times my selection goes somewhere other than where I want to be. Hopefully this is addressed in HF2.
 
I assume your typing the airport name or ICAO into the search box. Seems to me that P3d filters the list as you type but lags behind a bit. So if you type quickly and hit enter you may end up at the wrong place.
 
Thanks guys for the input. No matter how I select an airport I sometimes get a random location. I tried looking in the P3D forum but couldn't find anything. I assume there will be a Hotfix2 to sort a few problems out.

I have had this happen to me only once. I just assumed it was an anomaly. Good information to know.

I imagine the good folks at LM have quite a bit to work on for HF2. I think most of us assumed it would be out already. No matter, it will be what it will be. Just enjoy what it is.
