Scenery cfg question

On checking my scenery cfg I've found that quite a few scenery entries are present and active/true that I had previously deleted from the sim scenery section. Should I hand edit these out or does it make any difference? Also I noticed that the number sequence was not correct.
I know this must be elemental but I don't know quite what to do. Thanks if you can help.

Hi stoney,
I often have to hand edit the enteries and number sequence. "EDIT IN NOTEPAD".

If you change Required=FALSE to Required=TRUE this will stop you deleting the scenery accidentally when using the scenery editor.
