Scenery Help Needed

I'm in the middle of a small project that I took on for a gentleman that was looking for someone to design & place a memorial in FSX to commemorate the loss of his stepson & 30 other Marines in Iraq back in 2005 when their CH-53 went down. I'm well along with the model, but I know squat about getting it into FSX, and I really can't afford to spend a lot of time figuring it out like I normally would.

Would someone please tell me what I need to do to place the object into FSX? I have the .mdl file, the texture, and the location it needs to be at.

Thanks!

Robert - if you send me your MDL file and the lat/lon where you want it placed, I'll compile it for you. Don't worry about sending the textures, just the model and the coords. I'll PM you my address.

Robert great job there. I have been following along. It's great to see how the flight sim community is so strong and everybody goes out for one another when asked or needed. Cse in point Spotlope.

With a bit of guidance from Bill Womack and a couple of evenings getting a grip on the process I can now see the memorial in FSX. Bill Leaming has also been helping me with some texture work & ideas. I still have some things to do, but here is where it's at now...Thanks guys! :wavey:
