^Seen there at my WIP RAF Nuneaton

and here is the file for the T2 i made, complete with base PSD's for recolouring, T2 is as a library format so will be placeable with most scenery design tools (instant scenery), can't remember off top of my head if ADE reads .MDL sources or .bgl, but as i say it should work, give me a shout if you can't figure it...

whoops forgot the base PSD's!..... or did i? bloody hell why do i never remember only 10mins after doing it!

EDIT: Panic over! Base PSD's are in there as is a batch tool to convert textures to either DXT3 or 32-bit dependant on System :salute:

I got it. Thanks a bunch. I have an airport already picked out to put it at.

Well, here you go Matt. I now have N77121 sitting right outside the hanger where she stays.
Thanks again for your efforts. Great Job!:applause:

you're welcome buddy! was scratching my head for 2 hours earlier figuring out why textures weren't showing but then i figured it was because my instant scenery was loading an older untextured library which causes all textures to grey out, once i had that figured t'was a cakewalk :icon_lol:

now onto the control Tower at RAF Nuneaton! :icon_lol:

After you get the tower finished, think you might be up for the C-type hanger? My next challenge is to see if I can get a jpeg of the T2 installed in ADE so you can see a thumb of the object instead of a blank screen. Then I'm going to see if I can pare down the library ojects to those that I mostly use for my limited custom scenery projects. That way when I am doing a scenery project, I won't have to go through hundreds of objects to find the one I want.

Romeo-Delta.

παρακαλώ πολύ :icon_lol:
(You're Very Welcome)

C-type could be fun as there were 2 variants... the 1934 type and the 1938 type, the 1934 type was anywhere between 45.72m long to 91.44m long and the 1938 was a fixed 91.44long with sloped ends.... the 1938 one was also slightly lower... 9.246m as opposed to the 10.770 of the 1934 type.... :icon_lol: now to decide which to do first :icon_lol:

Good looking work. I wish I knew how to develop scenery. I would make my hometown in B-N Illinois look like it should and probably do Stuttgart Germany in what it looks like in reality.

Delta-Delta, let me offer some encouragement. May I suggest that you get a copy of Airport Design Editor. Pick a small airport somewhere as your test airport and then just go for it. I've only been using ADE for a couple weeks now. If I can learn to use it, I'm confident that you can too.

Also, the guys here at the Outhouse were kind enough to answer all my questions. I'm sure they will do the same for you.

So......go for it marine...:running:
